Toyota recall on 2007+ cars and trucks. What about the cars before 2007, like 04,05,06?

From what I read somewhere, they have the same electronic throttle controls as the 2007+ models.


My parents both own Toyotas(06 Camry,06 Solara). I am concerned for their safety, but don't want to accept the fact that their cars don't fall under the year guidlines they are giving. Especially if the unit that is causing the problem is possibly identical. Help!|||Play it safe and call the dealer - give them your cars V.I.N.s and they will tell you if these cars fall under the recall.
