Don't own XC90 wanted one badly till I spoke to Swedish Enginering of Ann Arbor MI a week ago. As per them all XC 90 has tranny problems costs $4000 to repair, around 90k-120k miles. Best of luck, after hearing that I am totally happy with my 97 850GLT Turbo sedan.
